The Context

Saentys were approached by Chaletbau Matti to redesign their existing website and offer expertise on repositioning their brand digitally.

They wanted a website which could showcase their body of work without compromising on client confidentiality. We proposed telling the story of Chaletbau Matti in three parts to lead viewers through the company’s legacy spanning three generations, their craftsmanship, and finally their full-service capabilities with chalet construction and interior design.

The success of this project has resulted in winning an Honourable Mention on Awwwards.

We were given free reign to be creative, so I aimed to impress with smooth scrolling, parallax animation, and a dynamic timeline that invited visitors to step (or scroll) through the generations of history to understand the heritage rooted within their work.

Cinemagraphs and audio interviews were woven into the website’s flow to take visitors on an audiovisual experience, one that befits a discreet and highly esteemed brand like Chaletbau Matti.
